Our Halloween Photo-shoot
It is that time of year again. Yes, Halloween. The time of year when we get to dress up and scar the crap out of complete strangers and get away with it.
Even though we try not to get too involved with Halloween and steer the kids away from violence and gore. We are totally cool with super hero’s!
So Natasha and I planned out a little super hero themed Halloween photo-shoot for the boys.
Side note: I’m writing this prior to the photo-shoot as it will be Wednesday evening when we shoot and I will still post this article that night after I edit the photos. Hence the late unusual time of this post.
The Theme
So the theme for this Photo-shoot is dark stormy urban back ally Batman and Super man theme. The weather was already stormy which was perfect for the shoot.
I was going for a grungy look. This is completely different than my usual style, but it’s always so much fun to try new things and I always learn something new in the process.
Location
As mentioned before, we wanted to have kind of an urban back ally, so we used a back ally in our local town which worked perfect.
Weather
We could tell a couple of days in advance that the weather was going to be stormy on Wednesday, which got me excited for the first time to possibly have rain during a photo-shoot! XD
Costumes
Riches and Reuben LOVE super hero’s just like all of the kids their age in the 21st century where every other movie that comes out is another freaking super hero movie!
So Richard decided he wanted to be Batman and Reuben wanted to be Superman... PERFECT!!! XD

Conclusion
We had a blast creating these photos and they turned out great!
